The Exhibition; The Choice of Memories refers to the process in which the works are broken and only the essence of the subject (model) is left. It also refers to the works in which the pieces that have fallen are reused for a ‘new’ identity because everybody has the choice of which memories determine who we are.

In another way, it also reflects on the relationship between artist and artwork. During the process of ‘breaking’, the work liberates itself of the Artist, but the artist keeps her influence on the creation and ‘chooses’ which memories reappear in the work or not.
