Poetry Never Gives Up

On April 2018, the Museum Quarter in Cascais Portugal showcased “Poetry Never gives up”, an exhibition with thirty-two pieces. Luisa Soares de Oliveira stated “Lita Cabellut carries on a permanent dialogue with the history of painting, and more specifically, with the monumental nature of the Spanish history of painting. She has always insisted that instead of the process, what interests her is the idea, the dialogue that may ensue with the empty canvas, and basically, what it asks of her. A dialogue between the titans, therefore a dialogue that is also a conversation with History itself”.
